Service Description

This is a gorgeous way to create something completely unique and special for your wedding day,. The session is a private workshop experience for you both as a couple, you will have full and exclusive use of a fully fitted, professional jewellery studio. You will receive one to one tuition and guidance by a fully qualified goldsmith. You will have access to all the tools required to create two wonderfully unique and sentimental rings. You will be welcomed to my studio at 10.30am. We take some time designing your wedding bands prior to creating them. You will learn how to find your ring size and start measuring out your metal before a tea break at 11.30am. After morning tea you will begin to form your wedding bands, having soldered them before lunch at 1pm. After lunch we work on shaping, fitting, smoothing and polishing your rings, finishing with a celebratory glass of fizz! Photos will be taken throughout the day to document the process. Please allow at least 5 hours for the workshop, we aim to finish by 4pm. After the workshop your rings are sent to be hallmarked and polished. Your rings will be ready for posting or collecting after 4 weeks. Additional engraving can be made at an additional cost of £80 All tools are provided, all you need to do is turn up, ready to get making. The price £295 is for booking the workshop time. Your rings are priced independently below and are price dependent on what metal you wish to use: Sandcast rings: Silver £250 per ring (4-8g per ring) 9ct Gold £450 per ring (7-11g per ring) 18ct Gold £1000 per ring (7-11g per ring) Metal Formed Rings (using wire or sheet metal) 935 Silver £100 9ct Gold £300 per ring 18ct Gold £500 per ring Payment is requested for the rings on the day of the workshop. If you want to supply your own gold, as long as there is a visible hallmark this can be accommodated for the sandcasting process only, please get in touch to discuss this option as the price of the rings will be reduced accordingly. This is often a nice way to celebrate inherited rings.
